HOW WE WORK

NOVV brings engineering into the operating problem.

Why NOVV

Built around the decisions that matter to you.

The value of a system depends on how well it fits the business using it. NOVV connects the operating problem, the engineering and the responsibility for delivery.

Business context shapes the build.
We work from the decisions, constraints and exceptions your teams deal with. These define the data, logic and workflows the system needs.
Existing systems stay part of the plan.
We assess what can be connected and where change is necessary. New components serve a defined purpose within the wider environment.
Analysis has a path to action.
A finding needs an owner and a next step. We connect insights to the people, approvals and applications involved in the response.
Engineering continues into operation.
Deployment establishes a working foundation. Continued engagement keeps integrations and workflows aligned as the business changes.
The engagement model

A custom engineering engagement.

The engagement covers the architecture, integrations and workflows needed for an agreed operating problem. NOVV does not charge software license or user-seat fees. Any external infrastructure, software or model usage required by the design is identified in the engagement scope.

Ways to begin

Start where the need is clearest.

01
A defined engineering requirement
Build or improve a pipeline, integration, analytical view, AI workflow or application component. Agree the interface with the wider system and the criteria for accepting the work.
02
An operational use case
Connect the information and workflow around one business decision, such as stock allocation, portfolio reporting or a financial exception.
03
A broader program
Plan and deliver connected work across several systems or functions, with staged priorities, accountable owners and continued engineering involvement.

Scope, commercial terms and milestones are agreed before delivery begins.

Four stages

Architect. Integrate. Orchestrate. Evolve.

01
Architect
Define the decision.
We map the process, systems and constraints around the problem. Together, we establish what the first scope should achieve and how success will be assessed.
Output
An agreed scope, architecture outline, responsibilities and measurement plan.
02
Integrate
Build a dependable foundation.
We connect the required sources, align definitions and validate the information with your teams. Access and quality issues are resolved or made explicit before the system relies on them.
Output
Connected data and an operational model reviewed by the relevant owners.
03
Orchestrate
Bring decisions into the workflow.
We build the analysis, interfaces and actions needed for the agreed use case. Your team reviews the operating behavior, approvals and exception paths before production use.
Output
A working capability with clear responsibilities and a defined release scope.
04
Evolve
Keep the system useful.
As source systems and business needs change, NOVV maintains integrations, refines workflows and introduces new capabilities within the continuing engagement.
Output
Ongoing system evolution aligned with operating priorities.

Scope, sequencing and delivery milestones are established during discovery.

What delivery includes

A system your team can put to work.

Each scope identifies what will be built, how it will be validated and what your team needs to operate it. The handover can include source code, integrations, configuration, architecture documentation and operating procedures, according to the agreed deliverables.

Acceptance focuses on
Data accuracy and freshnessRequired workflow behaviorPermissions and approvalsExceptions and recoveryDocumentation and knowledge transfer
Ownership

Clear ownership. A documented handover.

The custom deliverables agreed for your engagement transfer to your company upon payment under the contract. Documentation and handover are part of the delivery scope. Any third-party dependencies are identified so the rights and requirements for operating the system are clear.

Working together

Build with the people who will use it.

Operators explain the exceptions. Technical teams define the environment. Decision owners establish authority and priorities. NOVV connects these perspectives through design, implementation and operational validation.

Questions before an engagement
01Do we have to replace our ERP?
We begin with the existing environment. Discovery identifies where integration is sufficient and where a source-system limitation needs to be addressed.
02What should we prepare for the first conversation?
A description of the operating problem, the systems involved and the teams affected. Detailed data access comes later through an agreed process.
03Can AI take action automatically?
Where the scope allows it, a workflow can execute defined actions. Permissions, approvals, evaluation and failure handling are established for the specific use case.
04What happens after deployment?
Continued engineering can cover integration maintenance, workflow refinement and new requirements. Its scope and responsibilities are agreed as part of the engagement.
05Can we begin with a single integration or analytical requirement?
Yes. An engagement can focus on a defined engineering task. We establish its inputs, dependencies and acceptance criteria so it fits the wider environment.
06Do you build dashboards and reporting?
Yes. Metrics, reports and interactive analytical views are part of the data and analytics scope. Where a decision also requires an approval or system action, that workflow can be included in the design.
07Can you work with our internal team and existing suppliers?
The engagement defines responsibilities across NOVV, the client and relevant suppliers. System access, interface ownership and change coordination are agreed as part of the delivery plan.
08How do you measure value?
We agree the baseline and measures relevant to the use case. These may include decision time, reconciliation effort, exception resolution, production loss or stock availability. Results are evaluated within the delivered scope and its operating conditions.
09How is the project priced?
The commercial proposal follows the agreed scope, delivery responsibilities and continued involvement required.
